Saturna Island Camping
19 February, 2016
Got out with the UVic Outdoors Club again this weekend! It was an intro to camping weekend out on Saturna Island. It was really relaxing. I'd never been on Saturna Island before so it was fun to explore. Right when you get off the ferry, there's a nice little cafe built into a parked double decker bus. The chef takes orders and cooks on the ground floor and then brings your food to you on the top floor! So naturally we visited this after a quick explore around East Point Park.We spent the night at the islands campground where we relaxingly slacklined, watched feral goats, and enjoyed some beers. Sorry for this crummy writeup but I'm exhausted from a long day at school so I'm just going to wrap up and sleep. Photos past the break.
