Halloween weekend in Montana
31 October, 2014
For Halloween this year a bunch of friends and I headed down to Montana. We drove down to Whitefish which is a little ski resort town just East of Eureka. There were nine of us in total and we got all dressed up (I did a group costume where we were beer pong - solo cups and a referee). We stayed at the Whitefish Lodge on the Lake and it was incredible - cheap and swanky rooms. We spent the evening downtown and made a lot of connections for future ski trips. The next day we all split up, and I ended up going to Glacier National Park (which I have did earlier in the summer as well) with three buddies: Adrian, James and Pat. The Going-to-the-Sun Road was only open for the first 16 miles so we drove that and then did a hike at the end to Avalanche Lake. Along the way we goofed around climbing down the canyons and bouldering without shoes on. Unfortunately it was a cloudy day so the peaks were not very visible. I can't figure out how to get the order of the photo's right - please bear with.
